A letter to the woman becoming.
I've always loved the word hiraya. In Filipino, it speaks of dreams, visions, and the quiet hope of becoming the person we're meant to be.
The more I reflected on that word, the more I realized something. Every woman carries a hiraya within her. A dream she's nurturing. A hope she's holding onto. A version of herself she's growing into, one day at a time. And no matter where we are in life, we're all becoming. I know that because I've lived it too.
That's why I created HIRAYA. Not simply to create activewear, but to create a reminder. A reminder that dreams aren't reached all at once. They're shaped in the choices we make every day. The courage to begin. The strength to keep going. The grace to give ourselves another chance.
That's why movement means so much to me. It isn't only about exercise. Every walk you take. Every Pilates class you show up for. Every stretch. Every workout. Every moment you choose to care for yourself... You're moving. Not just your body. You're moving toward the life you're creating.
To me, that's what HIRAYA is. It's believing that every small step has meaning, because every small step brings you closer to your own hiraya.
My hope is that whenever you wear HIRAYA, you feel more than comfortable. I hope you're reminded that your dreams are worth pursuing. That your well-being is worth prioritizing.
